Where is the studio?

Our Studio is on the First Floor, 1 King Street Wrexham, LL111HF.

It is all set up for newborn photography with a large selection of props and fabrics, headbands, hats & wraps. I use natural light 99% of the time…if it is exceptionally dull (uk winters) then i have to succumb to using a studio light but not if i can avoid it.

Newborn Session Information

Is my baby in safe hands?

Absolutely, i’m fully insured and trained in the art of newborn photography by Award winning Photographer Kelly Brown from Little Pieces Photography & Abu Dhabi’s top Newborn Photographer Jillian Greenhill. I have been specialising in Newborn Photography for 3 years now, i am a member of BANPAS (Baby And Newborn Photography Association) & NAPCP (National Association Of Professional Child Photographers). I have a BTEC level 2 in Photography and currently in my 3rd year doing the MDES Design Film & Photography Degree at Glyndwr University.

When do i book my newborn session?

You can contact me anytime during your pregnancy to let me know your estimated due date, I will then pencil you in for the month surrounding that date. I will only ever book one newborn session in on a day because of the nature of the session I like to allow plenty of time so you don’t feel rushed and can enjoy the whole experience. I only schedule a maximum of 3 newborn bookings per week so that there is several days for you to choose from when he/she arrives.

In those first couple of weeks I know how exhausting it can be with little or no sleep so feel free to bring a book or why not just sit back relax and do nothing for what will feel like the first time in forever! 🙂

A few days before your session i will email you with a few suggestions as to what usually helps make baby content and the session to run smoothly.

Who can i bring along?

You are welcome to bring 1-2 adults with and if you would like sibling photos included in the session that is perfectly fine, please mention this when you get in touch. What i usually suggest is that a family member brings them along to the last half an hour of the session, just so that they aren’t waiting around for hours and it gives us time to concentrate fully on baby and get as many photos as we can.

How long does the session take?

I start the session at 10am and it can last anything between 2-3 hours. Some babies take a while to settle and others sleep right through no matter how many times you move them, some can be really supple and others less so. As much as i want to get beautiful photos for you, safety is what is the most important and i will only put your baby in props and positions that they are comfortable in.

When will i get my photos?

When you come for your session we will arrange for a time that suits us both where you can come in and view your gallery of between 25-35 professionally retouched images within 2 weeks of your session.

Once you have seen your photos i will usually share one on my Facebook Page & Blog, please let me know beforehand if you would rather i didn’t (but this is probably how you found me in the first place so its a good way of showing people what i do 🙂 )

Can i buy extra prints etc?

Yes absolutely, i have a full list of my products and samples that you can view when you come in.
