Mr & Mrs Moyo’s Wedding at Rookery Hall | 17th July 2022

What an absolutely incredible day this was…. one filled with so much love, joy, happiness… and music!! I loved every minute of it and didn’t want it to end. This was the first wedding I’ve photographed at Rookery Hall and when Aleks told me they were getting married outside I think I did a little happy dance! I’m in my element with outdoor ceremonies because it’s the perfect backdrop and I can be further away and capture everything as discreetly as possible.

Their family and friends travelled from all over the globe and their love and energy really brought something extra special to this beautiful day.

Thank you for asking me to be your photographer, I loved every second and know you’re going to have an incredible life together with Eden and Asker, enjoy every moment!

Oh, and just a note to my future brides and grooms…. music, dancing and singing before your wedding breakfast is now a must! 😀

Now onto the best part….. here’s your sneak peeks, a selection of the highlights from your day, I hope you enjoy reminiscing!

Chris & Hannah’s Winter Wedding | Tower Hill Barns

What a great way to start this year’s wedding season with the marriage of Olympic High Jump athlete Chris Baker to his beautiful fiance Hannah. If you’ve read my previous blogs you’ll know how much of a fan I am of Tower Hill Barns, so I was delighted to return there for their wedding in March. This beautiful barn sits elegantly on the top of a hill, nestled in acres of land and surrounded by the stunning views of the Welsh countryside. We were so lucky with the weather, for the middle of March they were blessed with a dry day, rather chilly though which Hannah found out when it came time for their photos, you’d never tell by her beautiful smile that she was so cold her teeth were nearly chattering! Totally worth it though, you can’t get married here and miss the opportunity to have photos in the picturesque grounds.

They were married in the historic candle-lit barn surrounded by all their loved ones, lots of tissues were needed for all the happy tears shed throughout the ceremony and speeches. A mouth-watering 3-course meal was enjoyed by all in the oak framed dining hall…… the food here is always amazing! It was such a special day celebrating the marriage of two soul mates and after some fun with some sparklers they danced (mainly Hannah…. Chris not so much ;-D ) the night away!

Weddings are made extra special with all the fine details so a huge thanks to everyone that was involved:

Steph & Tom’s Wedding | Wollerton | Market Drayton

Steph and Tom had the most beautiful wedding…. The marquee was set up in the garden of their home, and if you looked to the left, nestled on the top of the hill, just visible through the trees was the church that they were married in.
Large boho pampas sprays decorated the marquee, outside sat a huge pampas flower arch for photos, and Steph’s matching bouquet had stunning blush tone flowers throughout, it was such a beautiful collection of flowers throughout, all of Steph’s planning came together beautifully. Tom & Tommy got ready at home while Steph’s morning preparations took place at her sister’s house. Becky had thought of everything, from a huge bridal prep box for Steph to handmaking all the resin coasters, so many thoughtful details.
Their family heirloom Land Rover sat waiting outside the church, ready to take them back to their barn where they celebrated the day away with their nearest and dearest. It was definitely one of the features of their day, Tommy, their son already looked like he knew how to drive it and loved being behind the wheel. I even got to have a whirl, it was such a giggle, with Tom’s Dad as the chauffeur, Tom & Steph in the back we went for a rumble around the country lanes to find a nice quiet spot for their photos.

Their day was perfect and I’m sure you’ll be able to tell by the photos that they loved every moment!
